Girls Basketball
The first Malone Panthers Girls Basketball squad started in June 2022. In their inaugural season they had only 1 team that competed at the fifth grade level and played in two tournaments. They performed extremely well, capturing second place in their first season and first place in their second season.
The Panthers were formed to offer year round sports to all student-athletes regardless of status and an opportunity to compete on a high level. Allowing them to put to use and showcase their skills and talents. Currently they participate in local and regional tournaments for elementary and middle school students. In the upcoming season we have expanded the program to include more teams and look to build off the success of the first season.
Boys Basketball
The Malone Panthers Basketball squads were formed in November of 2021. The first season saw 4 teams – 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade complete at various levels giving a lot of our student-athletes an opportunity to play competitively for the first time. Collectively they won 5 tournaments and had several other close chances.
The Panthers were formed to give year round sports to all student-athletes regardless of status and an opportunity to compete on a high level. Allowing them to showcase their skills and talents. Currently they participate in local and regional tournaments for elementary and middle school students. Over the summer the program expanded, adding a 5th grade team that completed in the MAYB National Championships.
Boys Football
The Malone Panthers Football squads were formed in April of 2019. Their initial year the 6th Grade team brought home the programs first Championship. This season our 7th/8th grade team brought home the programs third Championship in 4 years.
Our goal through junior football is to help our student-athletes overcome challenges they face daily, and teach them the skills necessary to navigate and improve their mental health. Through physical activity, learning sportsmanship and discipline, sports teaches many life lessons including resilience, grit and determination. Also creating many positive and meaningful relationships that can last a lifetime.

Allowing them to put to use and showcase their skills and talents. Currently members of the Great Plains Youth Football League and Youth Sports Foundation we are proud partners with the Lincoln Sports Foundation and play our home games at Championship field.
Track & Field
The first Malone Panthers Youth Track & Field team first competed in May 2022. They had a very successful first season with several team members representing in USATF Nebraska Association Junior Olympic Championships, USATF U-20 Outdoor Championships, AAU Region 14 Qualifiers, USATF Region 8 Junior Olympic Championships and USATF National Junior Olympic Championships. And, sprinter Dejaz Defrand was named the Gatorade Nebraska Girls Track & Field Athlete of the Year!
We strive to serve all student-athletes throughout the Lincoln community, and care about each and every student-athlete. We set out to make a positive physical impact, that also positively impacts our student-athletes mental stability.
The Panthers were formed to give student athlete training regardless of status an opportunity to compete on a high level. Allowing them to put to use and showcase their skills and talents. Currently they participate in local, regional and national meets for youth ages 7-18. A prospective student athlete can be 6 as long as they turn 7 in the same calendar year, and cannot be 19 before August 7th.
Girls Volleyball
The first Malone Panthers Girls Volleyball squad started in June 2022. In their inaugural volleyball season they had only 1 team that competed at the fifth grade level and played in two tournaments. They performed extremely well, capturing second place in their first season and first place in their second season.

Allowing them to put to use and showcase their skills and talents. Currently they participate in local and regional tournaments for elementary and middle school students. In the upcoming volleyball season we have expanded the program to include more teams and look to build off the success of the first season.
