2026 Malone Panthers Inaugural Hall of Fame
Malone Panthers Youth Hall of Fame Policy
The Malone Panthers Youth Hall of Fame is established to recognize and honor youth participants who have demonstrated outstanding achievement and exemplary conduct while representing the Malone Panthers organization. Induction into the Hall of Fame reflects excellence not only in athletic performance, but also in academic achievement, leadership, character, sportsmanship, and service to the community. The Hall of Fame serves to promote the organization’s core values and to inspire current and future participants.
Eligibility for induction into the Malone Panthers Youth Hall of Fame is limited to individuals who have participated in the Malone Panthers youth program for a minimum of three consecutive seasons and who have remained in good standing with the organization. Nominees must meet the minimum age or grade requirements established by the organization and must demonstrate behavior consistent with the standards and values of the Malone Panthers. Any individual with a record of serious disciplinary violations shall be ineligible for consideration. All nominations must be submitted by an approved nominator, which may include a coach, teacher, administrator, or other designated community leader.
Candidates for induction shall be evaluated using a standardized scoring system designed to ensure fairness, consistency, and transparency. Evaluation criteria shall include athletic achievement, academic achievement, leadership and community service, and character and sportsmanship. Each category shall be assigned a point value, with a maximum combined total of one hundred points. To be eligible for induction consideration, a nominee must achieve a minimum qualifying score of seventy-five points as determined by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee.
Athletic achievement shall be evaluated based on demonstrated performance, skill development, awards or honors, leadership roles within team athletics, and length of participation in the Malone Panthers program. Academic achievement shall be evaluated based on academic performance, recognition or honors, demonstrated effort or improvement, and positive recommendations from educators. Leadership and community service shall be evaluated based on service to the team, school, or broader community, mentorship of peers or younger athletes, and participation in leadership roles. Character and sportsmanship shall be evaluated based on respect for teammates, coaches, officials, and opponents, integrity, accountability, teamwork, and attitude during both success and adversity.
All nominations shall be submitted in writing using the official Hall of Fame nomination form and shall include any required supporting documentation. A Hall of Fame Selection Committee appointed by the organization shall review all eligible nominations. Committee members shall independently evaluate and score each nominee in accordance with the approved criteria. Final induction decisions shall be made by formal vote of the Selection Committee, as defined by organizational procedures. The Committee reserves the right to withhold induction in any year if no nominee meets the established standards.
Individuals selected for induction into the Malone Panthers Youth Hall of Fame shall receive formal recognition, which may include a certificate, plaque, or similar honor, as well as public acknowledgment at an official event or ceremony. Inductees’ names may also be displayed on a Hall of Fame board, website, or other official organizational materials. Recognition shall be conducted in a manner that reflects the dignity and values of the Malone Panthers organization.
The Selection Committee may, by formal vote, consider special circumstances such as exceptional perseverance, significant impact on the organization, or posthumous recognition. Honorary inductions may be granted in extraordinary cases and shall be subject to the same standards of review and approval. Any amendments to this policy must be approved by the Malone Panthers governing board in accordance with the organization’s bylaws and shall apply prospectively.
